Dunlop Nickel Wound Bass Guitar Strings - Short Scale .045-.105 Light Gauge 4-String Set

About This Product

Bass players, listen up! These Dunlop Nickel Wound Bass Strings are exactly what you need to get that perfect tone you've been chasing. Specifically designed for short scale basses, this 4-string set in light gauge (.045, .065, .085, .105) delivers everything you want from quality strings. The warm, solid fundamental tones give you that thick, sturdy low-end that's perfect for laying down serious grooves. But here's where they really shine - the punchy midrange growl cuts through any mix, making sure your bass lines are heard loud and clear. Whether you're fingerstyle, using a pick, or getting into some serious slapping and popping, these strings respond with rich harmonics and complex overtones that add depth and character to every note. Dunlop really nailed the string-to-string balance too - each gauge is specifically tuned to complement the others, so you get consistent tone across all four strings. The carefully selected core-to-wrap ratios mean low tension for comfortable playing, plus they have extremely long life with minimal break-in time. That means you spend less time tuning and more time playing. Perfect for traditionalists who want that classic bass sound, as well as modern players looking for cutting tone that stands out in the mix. If you're tired of strings that die too quickly or don't deliver consistent performance, give these Dunlops a try - your bass (and your bandmates) will thank you!
