About This Product

Hey there mechanics and DIYers! If you're rebuilding an engine or replacing your oil pump, this Melling 292S oil pump screen is exactly what you need. This isn't some cheap aftermarket part - we're talking genuine Melling quality that the pros trust. The screen fits perfectly onto your oil pump pickup tube and does the crucial job of filtering out debris before it can damage your engine. Package comes with just one screen, weighs about 1.6 pounds, and the dimensions are 8x6x5.3 inches - nice and compact for storage. Installation is straightforward if you're already working on the oil pump. This screen helps prevent metal particles, gasket material, and other junk from circulating through your engine and causing expensive damage down the road. Whether you're doing a full engine rebuild or just replacing worn components, using a quality screen like this Melling part gives you peace of mind that your oil system is protected. Much better than trying to clean and reuse an old, clogged screen that might not filter properly anymore. Serious engine builders know that the small parts matter just as much as the big ones!
